Kia ora tātou

I hope you all enjoyed your first day of spring yesterday. I went for a fish in the evening but the wind definitely wasn't spring-like. It felt more like the middle of winter!

Sadly no fish😞

As of today, Koropepe 1, if you have any questions please email me as Ms Schulte is pretty busy at school.

I'll leave you with a meme and few thoughts.

Thank you to Dylan and his family for finding a helpful APP called LUMIN that allows you to edit a PDF. Give it a go. I've just tried it and it is easy to download.

Check out the Student Leaders Challenges below. Parents were sent a message today explaining how it works. The first challenge-  Come up with the craziest trick shot you can do and send it to: 2021rangatira@taitapu.school.nz

Thanks, student leaders!

25 August 2021

The Head students and the Kapa Haka leader have got together to come up with some lockdown challenges to spice up everyone’s lockdown. Each day we will send out an email for what challenge it will be. You have until 3:00 pm each day to submit your video or photo. The first challenge is going to be the craziest trick shot you can do (it will be judged Thursday the 26th of August). It can be with a ball or even a slice of cheese, you pick. In order to enter, you can take a video or photo of you doing the trick shot then send it to 2021rangatira@taitapu.school.nz and the Heads and the Kapa Haka leader will judge it. The final score will be posted on our  School Facebook page. If you come first you win not only the bragging rights but also 200 house points for your house team, second place will win 100 house points and third will win 50. So make sure to mention your house in the video, photo or in the email you send when you submit your entry. Have fun and good luck!
Kind regards,

Edward, Caleb, Lucy, Maddie and Phoenix.
